The Section 8 Waiting List is Opening on Feb. 2, 2017
The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program for rental assistance will be accepting applications EVERY THURSDAY from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. beginning February 2, 2016.
The only requirement to apply is you must be 18 years of age. Walk-in applications will be taken during these times only at 1404 N. Randolph Avenue Elkins, WV 26241.
Phone applications will be taken only from those that are elderly and/or disabled. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list on a first come, first served basis. Households will receive a preference when the head of household, co-head of household or spouse is elderly, disabled, or a Veteran.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program
In addition to rental assistance, individuals and families who are current Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Holders can participate in our Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS Program).
