Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program –
Philippi & Belington, WV
RCHA administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, as well as the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, in Belington, Philippi, and all of Barbour County. This rental assistance program helps low-income households afford safe, decent, sanitary housing. Because this benefit is attached to the household (instead of the rental unit), participants enjoy greater mobility and the flexibility to choose the type of unit that best fits their needs. Applications must be submitted in person at RCHA in Elkins, WV.

Youth between the ages of 16-24 in Philippi, Belington, and throughout Barbour County, WV are invited to gain hands-on skills while collecting a paycheck with our YouthBuild Program. Learn construction skills, get your GED, and secure the tools you need to get a good job for life while building affordable housing and assets for your community.
