RCHA administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, as well as the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, in Weston and all of Lewis County, WV. This rental assistance program is designed to help low-income households afford safe, decent, sanitary housing. Because this benefit is attached to the household (instead of the rental unit), participants enjoy greater mobility and the flexibility to choose the type of unit that best fits their needs. Seniors living in rental units throughout Lewis County, WV are invited to participate in the Healthy Home Program. The goal of the Healthy Home Program is to help improve the overall health and wellness of seniors by providing free care coordination and on-site programs in the comfort of the home environment. A Wellness Nurse and Program Coordinator provide a wellness assessment, help the participant develop a Health Action Plan, and provide assistance with accessing educational programs and community resources to help them reach their goals.

The RCHA Homeless Program provides comprehensive assistance for individuals and families without a home to call their own in Weston and throughout Lewis County, WV. Through coordination with our caring partners, we help people find and lease apartments and address the issues that led to homelessness to help deliver a long-term, sustainable solution.
