Affordable Home Loans In Buckhannon
Through our partner, HomeOwnership Center (HOC), residents in Buckhannon and Upshur County are able to access affordable home loans, housing and credit counseling, advice, and education designed to increase an individual’s financial fitness and homeownership opportunities. Special programs for first-time home buyers, and home buyers who have been previously turned down by other lending institutions, are available. HOC opens the door to homeownership for individuals of all income levels.
YouthBuild Program –
Upshur County, WV
The YouthBuild Program in Upshur County, WV is accepting applications! Income-eligible teens and young adults between the ages of 16-24 in Buckhannon and all of Upshur County, WV are invited to participate in this 10-month, 35-hour per week paid apprenticeship in the building trades. There is no charge for those accepted into the program. Youth receive the tools needed to secure good, long-lasting employment or start their own business. Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program
– Buckhannon, WV
RCHA administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Family Self-Sufficiency Program in Buckhannon and Upshur County, WV. This program assists low-income households with accessing safe, decent housing. The Family Self-Sufficiency Program is a voluntary program designed to provide a hand up for low-income people who are interested in decreasing reliance on assistance programs and achieving financial self-sufficiency.

RCHA Homeless Program – Upshur County, WV
The RCHA Homeless Program provides comprehensive assistance for individuals and families without a home to call their own in Weston and throughout Upshur County, WV. Through coordination with our caring partners, we help people find and lease apartments and address the issues that led to homelessness to help deliver a long-term, sustainable solution.
