Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program
In Randolph County

RCHA administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Family Self-Sufficiency Program for Randolph County and all of North Central West Virginia. The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program helps low-income households afford safe, decent, sanitary housing. The voluntary Family Self-Sufficiency Program helps low-income families access the tools needed to escape poverty, decrease reliance on assistance programs, and ultimately become self-sufficient. Applications must be submitted in person at RCHA.

YouthBuild Program – Elkins, Beverly & Mill Creek, WV

Are you between the ages of 16-24 and interested in getting paid while you receive job training? Income-eligible residents of Elkins, Mill Creek, Beverly, and all of Randolph County, WV are invited to receive apprenticeship training and education to get a good job. There is no cost for this program. You will help build affordable housing and other assets to benefit you and your community while you learn. Healthy Home Program for Seniors
In Randolph County, WV

Seniors living in rental units throughout Randolph County, WV are invited to participate in the Healthy Home Program. The goal of the Healthy Home Program is to help improve the overall health and wellness of seniors by providing free care coordination and on-site programs in the comfort of the home environment. A Wellness Nurse and Program Coordinator provide a wellness assessment, help the participant develop a Health Action Plan, and provide assistance with accessing educational programs and community resources to help them reach their goals.

RCHA Homeless Program – Randolph County, WV

The RCHA Homeless Program provides comprehensive assistance for individuals and families without a home to call their own in Weston and throughout Randolph County, WV. Through coordination with our caring partners, we help people find and lease apartments and address the issues that led to homelessness to help deliver a long-term, sustainable solution.
