YouthBuild Apprenticeship Program – Parsons, Davis & Thomas, WV

Income-eligible youth between the ages of 16-24 in Thomas, Davis, Parsons, and all of Tucker County, WV are invited to participate in a 10-month paid apprenticeship in construction, along with the education required to get a good job. The program is free for eligible individuals. Participants help build affordable housing and community assets while gaining valuable skills. Interested? Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program
In Tucker County

RCHA is the local agency administrator for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Family Self-Sufficiency Program in Tucker County and counties throughout North Central West Virginia. The Section 8 Program helps low-income individuals and households access safe, decent, sanitary housing they can afford. The Family Self-Sufficiency Program is a voluntary program designed to help eligible low-income people access essential tools to decrease reliance on assistance programs and achieve financial self-sufficiency.

RCHA Homeless Program – Tucker County, WV

The RCHA Homeless Program provides comprehensive assistance for individuals and families without a home to call their own in Weston and throughout Tucker County, WV. Through coordination with our caring partners, we help people find and lease apartments and address the issues that led to homelessness to help deliver a long-term, sustainable solution.

Healthy Home Program for Seniors
In Tucker County, WV

Seniors living in rental units throughout Tucker County, WV are invited to participate in the Healthy Home Program. The goal of the Healthy Home Program is to help improve the overall health and wellness of seniors by providing free care coordination and on-site programs in the comfort of the home environment. A Wellness Nurse and Program Coordinator provide a wellness assessment, help the participant develop a Health Action Plan, and provide assistance with accessing educational programs and community resources to help them reach their goals.
