YouthBuild North Central WV helps young adults gain essential job skills while strengthening local communities through the construction of affordable housing and other regional assets. When you support YouthBuild, you help break the cycle of poverty for the next generation.
While we receive restricted federal funding, non-federal matching funds are crucial to help us cover program expenses, address participant needs such as food insecurity, and provide the best-possible experience for participants.

Donate to the Loren Fortney Memorial Fund Scholarship
The Loren Fortney Memorial Fund was created to honor the memory of the beloved teacher and mentor who inspired hundreds of YouthBuild participants. This fund provides scholarships for YouthBuild graduates and supports the program’s ongoing success.
Loren’s legacy lives on through the impact he had on YouthBuild and the lives of the young people he touched.
