Affordable Housing Options
The Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA) offers a variety of affordable housing options for individuals and families at all income levels in Randolph, Barbour, Tucker, Lewis, Upshur, and Pendleton counties.
RCHA Apartments to Rent for Everyone
- What is it? Privately owned apartments available for rent with or without Section 8 vouchers or other requirements such as age or disability. These apartments are owned and managed by RCHA.
- Who is eligible? Open to everyone.
Subsidized Low-Income Housing
- What is it? Subsidized housing receives government funding to help keep rent costs low. Rent discounts are tied directly to the building, so you pay less without needing a Section 8 Housing Voucher.
- Who is eligible? Low-income individuals or families.
Subsidized Senior and Disabled Housing
- What is it? Apartments designed for elderly and/or people with disabilities. These apartments include features like ground-floor access, elevators, and grab bars for safety.
- Who is eligible? Individuals aged 55+ or 62+ and persons with disabilities.
For Those Experiencing Homelessness

These apartments are owned and managed by RCHA. They are open to all income levels, with no specific eligibility requirements.
