RCHA Awarded YouthBuild funds

The Randolph County Housing Authority is proud to have been awarded funds for a new grant cycle under the Department of Labor’s YouthBuild grant.  Our YouthBuild program will continue its excellent work providing educational and vocation training and supportive services for opportunity youth ages 16-24.  Currently YouthBuild offers workforce training in construction and allied health.  The new grant will add hotel and retail hospitality training and available credentials to the current programs offered.  The RCHA staff is honored to continue to offer this program to our community.

 

 

The total cost of the YouthBuild program is $1,581,250. $1,265,000. (79%) is funded through a U.S Department of Labor – Employment and Training Administration grant. $316,250 (21%) is financed by non-governmental sources.
